Glossy Love You Much

OH, I'm having so much fun with this stamp set!! Here's another quick & easy, peasy card to do... By the way, I love these 6" x 3" cards. First of all, you can get four out of a piece of 12" x 12" cardstock, which is just very frugal... and different when you use the awesome Textured cardstock - this is Pink Pirouette Textured cardstock. Second, you can still mail this card in our Small Open-End Envelopes and it won't look like every other piece of mail in the mailbox!! I love to be different! Plus you don't have to worry about big spaces to try to fill up. So, back to this card... (I'm easily distracted you know!)... This card starts with 6" x 6" piece of Pink Pirouette Textured cardstock, folded in half. The next layer is, yep, one of the designs from the Candy Lane Designer Series Paper from the Love You Much Bundle, measured at 5-3/4" x 2-3/4". I just tied a piece of Riding Hood Red 5/8" Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around it - in a knot (no bows for me!!). Mount that onto your card. Stamp the Love you much stamp onto a piece of Glossy cardstock. Remember that when you stamp on Glossy cardstock to be very careful not to slide your stamp and trust me that's easy to do. I always turn my Glossy cardstock over and while making sure that I'm holding it so that it doesn't slide, I gently rub the back of the cardstock to take any excess ink off of the front. Your Classic Ink takes a little longer to dry on the Glossy cardstock since it's not as porous as the other Neutral cardstocks. Lastly for this card I mounted it onto my card using Dimensionals. I do that so that I don't have a mountain underneath my top layer because it's competing with the ribbon. Does that make sense? Anyway, I love Dimensionals and they are a great buy at only $3.95 for 300 of them!! Can't beat that!! Well, that's all for that card - see, I told you it was easy, peasy!! Check back tomorrow for another sample from this great bundle!!! Until then... happy stamping!!
