Here's the last card from Dive 'N2 Stampin'. I have to admit that I think I loved this project the most!! I think it's because it's an original "Phyllis-Vicki" creation. You know that there are so many projects and ideas out there to copy. And trust me, we maximize our time by copying whatever we can. This time, we couldn't find what we wanted. Originally we wanted to use the Carousel Notes, but sometimes we just don't have all the supplies we need, so we put our thinking caps on and decided to use the envelopes from the Carousel Notes. It's much easier to plan a project when everything is the same color. So again we're using Chocolate Chip. It seemed to be "the" color for this workshop. I love the brown and pink and brown and blue combinations that are so hot right now. First, take the Square Envelope from the Carousel Notes, tuck in the flap and then fold in half. The Naturals White layer for the inside and the Baja Breeze layer for the "Hidden Message" are the same size - 2-7/8" x 6". When layering the Naturals White to the inside be sure to put your glue on the envelope instead of the back of the cardstock - you don't want to glue your pocket closed. The Hidden Message card has a pull tab made from grosgrain ribbon and a brad. How simple is that??
I like the look of this card because you can pull this off as a masculine card. You can always add money to the inside - especially since chocolate won't really fit! Oh, I forgot to tell the the very best thing about this card!!!!!!!! You can mail it using our Small Open-End Envelopes. So there you have it - an original project. Stay tuned for the project using the Carousel Notes. If you're going to use all of your envelopes for cards you have to have a project to use up those Carousel Notes!! Until then... happy stamping!!
