Eat, Drink & Be Scary

Just in time for Halloween. Here's a cute little party favor for you to make using the Big Shot, pillow box die and the new stamp set Eat, Drink & Be Scary from the Holiday Mini 2008 Catalog. I have to admit that I caved and bought this set. I wasn't going to (how many times do I say that??). I just had to do it. I've already made cute little cello bag toppers with the set. I think that I'll do these for my daughter and son's school classes. What fun that will be?? You can make these too. Just click here for detailed instructions. Happy Stamping!

Crazy for Cupcakes

Do you just love this jar?? It is just too cute!! What a simple, but thoughtful gift that you could whip up in no time! You could even make this instead of goodie bags with those cheap toys that either get left all over the house or break the very first time your sweet little child tries to play with it. (Can you tell this has happened to me more than once??)

And what makes this even better is that this stamp set, Crazy for Cupcakes is part of Stampin' Up!'s Birthday Promotion. You can get this stamp set for 20% off this month. Crazy for Cupcakes sells for $23.95, but during this promotion you can get it for only $19.16. This Birthday Promotion is good through October 31, 2008, so don't miss out! Send me an email if you'd like to take advantage of this promotion, or you can order online using the link above. Happy Stamping!!!

Live with Passion

What great advice this is - Live with Passion! Don't we take things for granted? I know I do! Well, it's great to have that little reminder take it all in and breathe. This little reminder is featured in the card using the Inspired by Nature stamp set. I love that this card also uses a different technique in stamping directly onto Designer Series paper with the VersaMark pad and embossing the image with white embossing powder. It's such an elegant look and a different take on the silhouette. For step-by-step instructions to create this card, click here. I know that you'll have a blast re-creating this card. Happy Stamping!!

Flower Power Class

Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.

Create five different projects using the Flower Power Simply Sent Card Elements Kit located on page 176 of the Fall-Winter 2008 Idea Book & Catalog. We'll make a luggage tag, a money holder, a treat holder, a card and a post-it note holder. These are great projects to give as gifts. This kit contains enough materials to create 9 cards (3 each of 3 styles); however in this class you'll discover how to make five new projects, plus have enough material to have one each of the designs layouts from this kit and more. This class will include detailed instructions on each of the five projects.

Reserve your spot today! I'll also be offering this class as a kit that you can complete at home. If you can't make it, you can purchase the class kit to be picked up or to be mailed to you.

Reservations and payment are due no later than Sunday, November 16, 2008.

Limited Time Decor Elements

Isn't this the cutest spider? He's available for a limited time, just in time for Halloween. We usually don't decorate for Halloween, but I have to admit that I put this little spider on a glass jar for our candy and it was just too much! I love it!! The Spooky Spider is available in three sizes and two colors - black and white.

The small Spooky Spider Decor Elements is $5.95, the medium is $10.95 and the large is $14.95. I used the medium on this jar and still had extra web lengths. I purchased the jar at Target for only $7.49.

Medium: 8-7/8" x 7-3/4"
Large: 14-15/16" x 13"

Extra Web Lengths (included)
