I don't even know if there's a name for the technique used on the Fresh Cuts background stamp. I started by inking it with Mellow Moss ink and then used the Elegant Eggplant marker directly and randomly on the stamp. Then I huffed on the stamp to moisten the ink and stamped it down on my Confetti Cream cardstock. I used the Cutter Kit to distress the edges of the Elegant Eggplant cardstock and adhered that to the card. I stamped the flower image from the Fresh Cuts stamp set in Elegant Eggplant onto a scrap of Mellow Moss cardstock. Then I punched out the flower using the 5-Petal Flower Punch. TIP: I find it much easier to stamp first and then to punch out so that you can center your image in the punch! Then I sponged the edges of the petals with Elegant Eggplant ink. Using the Mellow Moss and Elegant Eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon scraps as leaves for the flower, I adhered the flower to the card. I really hope the Pretties Kit will be in the next catalog because I just love it!! The last dimension on the card used the half pearl from the Pretties Kit and Multi-Purpose Glue dipped into Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. Everything is better with glitter!!!

Here is a quick simple project that you can do in a short period of time! I had so much fun making this little flip album! It's even easier to make using a Simply Scrappin' Kit from Stampin' Up! You only need three pieces of 12" x 12" paper either plain or patterned. Cut each piece in half at 6" (you now have six 6" x 12" pieces). Arrange your paper in the order that you want them. Your bottom layer is all ready for you - just fold in half. Cut your next layer to 6" x 11" and fold in half. Do this for each of your pieces that are left cutting an inch shorter each time ending with your front piece at 6" x 7". Then just decorate the pages with your sticky die-cuts! Punch your 1/8" holes along the top. I punched in 3/8" from the top and at 1", 3" and 5". Use three binder rings to hold your pages together and tie ribbon on to embellish. How simple is that?? Here are some additional pictures of my inside pages...
Grab some 12" x 12" paper and try this today! You'll have a blast!!
